For over thirty years the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce has led a delegation of environmental practitioners and managers to the offices of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Philadelphia with the EPA Region III Fly-In. This annual event facilitates an open dialogue between West Virginia businesses and federal regulators at the U.S. EPA, and allows for a candid and open conversation about current and planned regulations. This year we are pleased to announce that Cosmo Servidio, the EPA Region III Administrator, is again welcoming the West Virginia Chamber to his office on Wednesday, October 17th at 9:00am.

If your business interacts with environmental regulators, you do not want to miss this opportunity. This meeting allows the U.S. EPA to hear directly from you and get feedback on how to make regulations more workable for your business. Registration for this event is free and is open to all members of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce who have an interest in environmental issues. Registration is required by U.S. EPA Region III Headquarters by 12:00pm, Wednesday, October 10. While there is no charge for attending this meeting, participants are responsible for their own travel costs, lodging and meals.

A limited number of hotel rooms have been reserved in Philadelphia for the night of Tuesday, October 16. If you are interested in securing one of these rooms, please contact John Canfield at (304) 342-1115 or jcanfield@wvchamber.com.
