Charleston, W.Va. The largest gathering of business, industry, education, finance and political leaders from around West Virginia will convene at the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce 87th Annual Meeting & Business Summit from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1, 2023 at the
beautiful Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV.
Knocking on the door of record-breaking attendance, around 1,000 attendees are
expected at the three-day event that is bursting at the seams with great content and a
slate of superb speakers.
For the first time on the stage together, four candidates vying to be West Virginia's next
governor will be featured in "Decision 2024: Gubernatorial Forum" including The Hon.
Moore Capito, Mr. Chris Miller, The Hon. Patrick Morrisey and The Hon. Mac Warner.
The forum will be moderated by WSAZ-TV News Anchor Sarah Sager and will be
broadcast live on WSAZ at 11 a.m. Thursday. Aug. 31.
Breaking economic development and workforce announcements are again planned for
the Business Summit.
Attendees will be able to welcome and hear from companies new to West Virginia,
including FORM Energy and Omnis Building Technologies, which account for millions of
dollars in investment to West Virginia.
Guests will receive expert insight into many topics of interest to West Virginians in "The
West Virginia Poll" presented by Rex Repass, President of Research America Inc.
Scheduled speakers also include Gov. Jim Justice and West Virginia Sens. Joe Manchin
and Shelley Moore Capito, presidents of higher education institutions, healthcare CEOs
and many more.
