Leadership West Virginia is an innovative program designed to grow, engage, and mobilize leaders who are passionate about moving West Virginia forward. The organization’s mission supports the development of a cross-section of leaders who will inspire others and infuse the state with renewed energy, enthusiasm, and vitality.
Jobs for WV Graduates
In 2021, Jobs for West Virginia’s Graduates (JWVG) restarted under the WV Chamber Foundation, aiding students in various counties. Tailored for those with academic and economic challenges, JWVG offers in-class support with personalized plans. Students work with teachers and peers to enhance graduation and post-secondary prospects. The program includes statewide and national trips for professional, higher education, and employment exposure. Post-graduation, JWVG provides 12 months of support, displaying notable results in six categories measured monthly for at least a year after high school.
Business Academy
The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce is the village green for businesses and a hub of connectivity. We are pleased to offer the Business Academy through partnerships with legal experts, legislative representatives, industry specialists and others to bring educational and certification tools through webinars and content.
Campaign for Jobs
As the state’s largest advocate for economic policy improvement, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce compiles key indicators of West Virginia’s business climate annually, working towards the goal of creating a state that is healthier, better educated, more prosperous and provides opportunity for all.
