Women’s Leadership Summit held at The Greenbrier

March 26, 2026

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV (WVNS) – The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce hosted the 2026 edition of the annual Women’s Leader in White Sulphur Springs at The Greenbrier Resort.

This is the 9th year for the summit. The program features sessions led by influential speakers. The summit also celebrates leadership excellence by recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to their organizations and communities.

Jean Hardiman, a Senior Writer at Marshall University, says the conference is inspirational.

“I just experienced two days of hearing incredible speakers, who had such good advice for women in the workplace and all the different areas in which we work and try to make change and make things better for our communities and our state and I’m just really impressed by everybody we saw today, they were just dynamic and intelligent and full of good advice,” said Hardiman.

One piece of advice Hardiman took to heart during the conference was to offer some vulnerability when dealing with relationships.

“To be vulnerable, she said you get farther in building relationships with people if you offer a little vulnerability to your back and forth exchange with people and they are vulnerable with you and it builds a strong relationship it helps everything you try to accomplish in your work,” continued Hardiman.

The event is a professional development and networking event for women who are community leaders, students, and teachers. The goal is to make professional connections from across the state.
