Workforce Unifiers Roundtable held Thursday at WVU-P’s ITC campus

October 16, 2025

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) – The Workforce Unifiers Roundtable discussion was held Thursday at WVU-P’s new ITC campus.

The discussion was centered around bringing together business, education, and community members together.

It brought to light what opportunities exist here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. Attendees ranged from local leaders to the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.

Elizabeth House, Executive Director of the West Virginia Chamber Foundation, says the discussion helped to hear issues and solutions that many of the leaders have faced.

“It’s great. It’s inspiring, it’s encouraging. It gives me hope for the future. Not only for those already in the workforce, but also for our youth and young people,” House said.
