NEWS RELEASE: West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Announces Newly Elected Board Members and Leadership

Charleston, W.Va. – Members of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce have elected new members of the Board of Directors and selected new leadership as the organization begins its next chapter following the 90th Annual Meeting & Business Summit, held September 2–4, 2026, at The Greenbrier.

The Chamber welcomes six individuals elected to the Board of Directors for the first time: Chris Beam, FirstEnergy Corporation; Julia Fletcher, J.H. Fletcher & Co.; Jeff Sandene, Vandalia Health; Bryan Slater, Dominion Energy; Chris Weikle, Expand Energy; and Paul White, Gallagher Benefits Services.

“A strong board reflects the strength and diversity of the business community we represent,” Steve Roberts, President of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce, said. “As we celebrate 90 years of serving West Virginia’s business community, we are pleased to welcome these individuals and the experience, perspective and leadership they bring to the Chamber. Their involvement will help position our organization for the opportunities and challenges ahead.”

Additionally, Kevin J. Craig, Executive Vice President of Natural Resource Partners L.P., was elected chair of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

“Kevin brings a deep understanding of West Virginia’s business community and a strong commitment to the future of our state,” Roberts said. “We are grateful for his willingness to serve as chair and look forward to working with him as we build on the Chamber’s 90-year legacy and continue advocating for a strong business climate and greater opportunities for West Virginians.”

Craig succeeds Maribeth Anderson, who served as the Chamber’s chair from 2024 to 2026.
