The annual event continues to break attendance records, and participants will tell you why.

The theme of this year’s Women’s Leadership Summit, held March 19-20 at the stunning Greenbrier Resort, was “Women Driving Excellence.” The event featured expert speakers, including bestselling author Jeannette Walls, interactive presentations, networking opportunities and a philanthropy project.

The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce created the Women’s Leadership Summit in 2018, aiming to foster a dynamic environment for networking, mentorship and professional development. The annual event has evolved into a celebration of the dynamic force that women leaders bring, creating a platform where women and their advocates come together to empower, inspire and elevate each other.

Once again this year, the summit welcomed Jobs for West Virginia’s Graduates students from Logan, Boone, Lewis and McDowell counties and college students from across the Mountain State for an unparalleled experience and opportunity to connect with West Virginia’s best and brightest.

The Summit continued its tradition of giving back to the community through a philanthropy project. This year, attendees rallied together to collect hundreds of bags filled with summer camp items to support YMCA locations across West Virginia. This initiative aimed to provide children with enriching experiences, from STEM activities to outdoor adventures, fostering holistic growth and creating lasting memories.

As the Summit concluded, participants left with renewed inspiration and a sense of camaraderie, eager to apply the knowledge and insights gained to their own leadership journeys. Looking ahead, the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce remains committed to nurturing and empowering women leaders, ensuring that the Women’s Leadership Summit continues to be a beacon of excellence.
