2026 Mini-Grant Application

2026 Mini-Grant Application for Flood Impacted Counties

The West Virginia Chamber Foundation is honored to offer Mini-Grants to Small Businesses in the flood-affected counties of Lewis, Upshur, Randolph and Barbour, thanks to a generous donation from FHLBank Pittsburgh. These grants will be provided to West Virginia small businesses that demonstrate the need for financial assistance for recovery from the impact of this flood. Initial grants of $500 will be offered.

The Need: The flooding from July 2026 had a devastating effect on numerous communities throughout West Virginia. This devastation included many small businesses located in flood-impacted communities.

These Mini-Grants will be awarded to small businesses to assist them in putting people back to work, restoring their services, and reopening their doors to the public.

How Does It Work?

Through a simple one-page application, businesses affected by the historic flooding can apply for mini-grants to get back in business. Mini-Grants can be used for any legal purpose that assists these small businesses in their rebuilding or reopening efforts, including payment of utilities, payroll, operating expenses, bricks and mortar, etc.

All grant recipients are expected to report on the expenditure of grant funds and results of the supported project.

Who Can Apply?

Any business directly affected by the floods in the Federally Declared Disaster Counties or State of Emergency Declared Counties
