Justice announces new industries coming to West Virginia

Gov. Jim Justice announced on August 28 that three new industries are coming to West Virginia. Justice introduced the new businesses at the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Meeting and Business Summit at the Greenbrier Resort.
Prime Six, makers of charcoal and wood logs, is investing $35 million in a new facility in Upshur Count, creating 75 new jobs.
Handcraft Services, makers of healthcare linens, is investing $59 million and will be located in Berkeley County, creating 220 new jobs.
Babcock and Wilcox is making a $125 million investment in the energy sector related to creating hydrogen energy out of coal.
“This could be a billion-dollar investment in West Virginia,” Justice said of the energy sector business in Mason County.
