Leaders discuss Boone County labor at Workforce Unifiers Luncheon

November 7, 2025

BOONE COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) — One group is looking to bring every level of the workforce together in one place.

The West Virginia Chamber Foundation launched the Workforce Unifiers Program in 2024, a full-circle network providing listening, learning and problem-solving connections to help fill the talent pipeline in West Virginia.

The foundation held a “Workforce Unifiers Luncheon” at Boone Memorial Health on Wednesday for local employers, government officials, community stakeholders and representatives from the foundation to talk about Boone County’s work landscape and their ongoing initiatives to strengthen employment opportunities.

The luncheon included a working discussion, lunch and a hospital tour.
