Charleston, W.Va. – The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee announced its endorsements for a series of judicial endorsements, recognizing individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to fairness, integrity and the rule of law.

West Virginia Chamber President Steve Roberts stated, “an independent and well-qualified judiciary is essential to maintaining public trust in our legal system. These endorsements reflect our confidence in each candidate’s ability to uphold the law with impartiality and professionalism.”

The endorsed candidates include:

  • West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals
    • Division 1 – Justice Gerald Titus
    • Division 2 – Justice Tom Ewing
  • West Virginia Intermediate Court of Appeals
    • Judge Dan Greear

The West Virginia Chamber PAC believes these candidates will be focused on applying the law in a fair and predictable manner and will continue to uphold those principles throughout their service on the bench. These endorsements reflect our broader commitment to a legal environment that is fair, consistent and transparent for all.

West Virginia must always strive for a fair, independent and timely judiciary system. Ensuring a strong legal framework is critical to maintaining public confidence and supporting a stable environment for individuals, families and businesses alike.

In addition to these judicial endorsements, the Chamber PAC has previously announced its endorsement of Senator Shelley Moore Capito for the United States Senate, underscoring our commitment to supporting leaders at all levels who understand the needs of our employers and the workers who drive our state forward.

The West Virginia Chamber PAC is the political arm of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. Members of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce are your small business neighbors. Chamber members employ over half of our state’s workforce and are found across our state.
