West Virginia Chamber of Commerce PAC Endorses Patrick Morrisey for Governor

The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee endorsed Attorney General Patrick Morrisey in his race for Governor of West Virginia on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Attorney General Morrisey recently spoke to the Chamber’s membership during the 2024 Annual Meeting and Business Summit.

West Virginia Chamber President Steve Roberts stated, “Patrick Morrisey has served with distinction for three terms as West Virginia’s Attorney General. Under his leadership he has worked tirelessly to protect West Virginia jobs and energy production, securing several sweeping victories at the United States Supreme Court. He works tirelessly in his current role, and I have no doubt he will take the same vigor and excitement into the Governor’s office. It has been the Chamber’s honor to endorse Attorney General Morrisey in all three of his races for Attorney General.”

Roberts continued, “Last week the membership of the Chamber had the opportunity to hear directly from Attorney General Morrisey as well as the Democratic nominee, Huntington Mayor Steve Williams. Each candidate presented an energetic and optimistic vision for West Virginia’s future. The Chamber Political Action Committee listened intently before its decision.”

Roberts concluded, “2025 will bring about significant change in West Virginia. We will have a new President of the United States, a new United States Senator, one new member of the House of Representatives, and an almost completely new Board of Public Works. Attorney General Morrisey will provide the steady leadership to lead West Virginia through this transition and set us on a course for the future.”
